Top 5 Toronto Raptors of all time

In fifth place, we have Chris bosh. In his career with the Raptors he had 20.9.4 rebounds and 2.2 STeal and 1.2 blocks over seven seasons of the Raptors. I think that Chris bosh is probably the best big man in raptors history.

jeremy: in fourth place we have Kyle Lowry. The reason why we have him on our top five is because he helped the Raptors win their first championship in 2019. With the Raptors with the Raptors over eight seasons how Lowry averaged 17 points, five rebounds and seven assists and also 1.5 steals which are great starts and he is definitely the best point guard in raptors history. Throughout his career at the Raptors he made five All-Star teams. he made an all nba third team in 2015-16. he also leads the Raptors in many statistical categories

cooper: In third place we have DeMar DeRozan. DeMar DeRozan is very well deserving of his third spot on this list He should maybe even be higher on the list. In nine seasons with the Raptors averaged almost 20 points, 4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and one rebound. He had for all star game selections, 1 All NBA second team section and 1 all nba 3team selection. Before this past season where we traded Demar. DeMar DeRozan definitely would have been the greatest raptor of all time on our list. but because of him not winning a championship for us Also because of  the emergence of Kawhi Leonard. This is why he is the 3rd Player on this list.

cooper :In second place we have Kawhi Leonard. Kawhi Leonard is the second best player with history because he brought a championship here. although he left after only one season and kind of snaked us. But he was still an amazing player in a short sample size. Kawhi Leonard is probably my favourite player in Raptors franchise history. Kawhi Leonard is the only player who I have their Jersey of that’s how much I love Kawhi Leonard.  that is why he is number two on the list which is ironically his number in real life.

Odon: Surprisingly, vinsanity AKA Vince Carter is first place because of his effect on the Raptors. He put the raptors on the map.

2019 offseason

Signing of Hyun-Jin Ryu

the Toronto Blue Jays signed Hyun-Jin Ryu for 4 years 80 million dollars.I am ecstatic. so he led the league in ERA with the 2.32 which is amazing. This year he was the runner-up for the cy young. He also was an all-star. We have our new ace. I am so happy with our rotation now. But there rotation could still be better, there’s still some massive holes. But, I think that now it’s gonna be amazing because they have Chase Anderson, Tanner Roark, Matt shoemaker, Trent Thornton, Ryan Borucki who’s injured. They also have Anthony Kay, who I’m not a big fan. Jacob Waguespack who’s okay and TJ Zeuch. I really like this, I’m proud of you for actually spending money.

Blue Jays sign SP Tanner Roark to 2-year, $24M contract

Yesterday the Blue Jays signed right-handed pitcher Tanner Roark to a two-year 24 million dollar deal which would pay him 12 million dollars per year. Roark’s main pitch is a sinker at 92 mph, a 85 mph slider. a 77 mph curveball and a changeup at 82 mph.he is projectected next season to have a 9-11 record, a 4.56 ERA a 1.363 WHIP,

Blue Jays sign SP Shun Yamaguchi to 2-year, $6M contract

Image result for shun yamaguchi blue jays

0Big, thick RHP that fits well in late-inning reliever role and can give multiple innings. Has been a closer in the past, but recently moved to the rotation in 2014. Has been up to 96-97 mph before entering the rotation and see him getting back to plus with the fastball in shorter stints. Pounds down in zone and works in to both righties and lefties. Forkball is his out pitch; above-average feel and will work in variations on the depth; bigger tumble early in count and circle change-type bottom for put-away. Slider used almost exclusively to RHH; for strikes. on the curveball, likes to use early in the count. Showing average command recently, Easy mechanics, does not have to be max effort to generate velocity

2019 Season moves

Derek Fisher trade aka worst trade ever

Image result for Derek Fisher getting hit

Around the MLB, as soon as 4:00 pm ET hit, there was a flurry of trades that were finalized with mere seconds left until the deadline — in one of the many, the Blue Jays acquired outfielder Derek Fisher from the Houston Astros fo Aaron Sanchez, Joe Biagini, and Cal Stevenson. Sanchez, arguably the biggest piece going to Houston, has had his fair share of big moments in Toronto, but since the memorable playoff games he has been stuck in a gutter that he just can’t get out of. With his free agency eligibility looming in 2021, the Jays decided to move on from the pitcher and try to get some value out of him instead of potentially non-tendering the pitcher this winter. this is probably one of the best on the worst trades and blue jays history because they traded away a potential ace plus a good bullpen arm and a prospect 4 below average force out filter that absolutely sucks this trade makes me very unhappy

Eric Sogard trade

Image result for eric sogard blue jays

According to an official team announcement, the Blue Jays have acquired pitchers Curtis Taylor and Edisson Gonzalez from the Tampa Bay Rays as the two players to be named later in the Eric Sogard trade earlier this summer. The 33-year-old veteran joined the Rays on July 28th. This is a pretty good trade for the Blue Jays the trailer weigh an average infielder for a pair of pitching park prospects, good job.

kevin ‘superman” pillar trade

Image result for kevin ‘superman” pillar blue jays

On april 2 2019 the blue jays traded longtime center fielder and fan favourite kevin’ superman” pillar, who I have met before. They traded him for Derek Law, Alen Hanson and Juan De Paula. The best player that the blue jay got in the trade was probably Derek Law, who is the blue jay new setup man in bullpen. Alen Hanson was with the blue jays right after the trade. In his tenure he was terrible. He had a 163 batting average, which is terrible. Therefore, after 18 games he was DFA’d then was outrighted to triple A buffalo. kevin’ superman” pillar with the blue jays batted 260 hit 55 home runs  had 231 RBI’s. So therefore he is a great player. The toronto blue jays did a affal job with this trade could have gotten a lot better return or could have just kept him.

Kendrys Morales trade

Image result for Kendrys Morales blue jays

On March 27, 2019 Blue Jays traded Kendrys Morales to Oakland for Jesus Lopez and 12 million dollars of Kendrys Morales. The purpose of the trade was to make room for the young position players that the blue jays have in the farm. The downside is that they had to eat 12 million dollars.

2018/19 0ffseason

Russell Martin trade

Image result for Russell Martin blue jays

On January 11, 2019 the Blue jays traded away Long time catcher Canadian Russell Martin. They traded him for two prospects that I’ve never heard of. the only good part about the trade is that they were able to make room for their young catching prospects and they were able to get rid of a little bit of a salary even though they here to eat part of it.

Trent Thornton trade

Image result for Trent Thornton blue jays

On November 17, 2018, the Blue Jays traded Aledmys Diaz for Trent Thornton. This was not that bad of a trade for the Blue Jays got a very good starting pitcher who can turn out to be a study in the long run for an average shortstop.

2018 season

Giovanny urshela trade

Image result for giovanny urshela yankees

On August 4, 2018 the Toronto Blue Jays traded Giovanny Urshela to the New York Yankees for cash. At the time this seems like a fair trade because Giovanny Urshela wasn’t very good for us but with the Yankees this past season he’s turned into one of the best hitters.  this is a very bad trade in the long run, if they would have kept him they would have had a really good bat in the lineup.

Aaron Loup trade

Image result for Aaron Loup

On july 31th 2018, the blue jay traded Aaron Loup to the Phillies for Jacob Waguespack. At the time of this look like the jays we’re gonna lose this trade is there a losing what are the best left-handed reliever’s In Aaron Loup. But now it looks like the Jays got a steal because now Jacob Waguespack is one of their better starting pitchers on the roster. so not that bad of a trade.

seung-hwan ho Trade

Image result for seung-hwan oh

On July 25th a 2018 the Blue Jays traded away their offseason signing from the prior offseason song seung-hwan ho aka the final boss to the Colorado Rockies. In return they got Forest wall, who is a very good outfielder in the Blue Jays minor-league system. Unfortunately he still has miles to go in the minors, but I think he could eventually be a major league player. They also got Chad spangenberg who I’ve heard a lot about and I’ve heard that he’s a really good Prospect up-and-coming the Blue Jays system. They also got Brian Barker, who I don’t know who he is but he was the long and that trade.  this trade was fairly good in terms of timing. I don’t mind maybe they could have got a little more I don’t know.

J.A. Happ trade

Image result for j.a. happ blue jays

On July 26th 2018,  the Blue Jays traded J A Happ who was a very good starting pitcher for the Blue Jays in his tenure. In return they got a  very underwhelming package of Brandon Drury who is a below average to average infielder. They also got Billy McKinney who is a minor leaguer that isn’t that good, but definitely has his moments at times. I overall think of the Blue Jays should have got a hell of a lot more in his trade. They probably could have got one of the Yankees top prospects but instead they got Brandon Drury and Billy McKinney who are overall not that good at all. I’m very unimpressed with Ross Atkins.

Roberto Osuna trade

Image result for roberto osuna blue jays

On July 30th 2018 the Blue Jays unfortunately had to make a trade. Where they gave up they’re closer for the last 3-4 seasons before the trade Roberto Osuna because of allegations of sexual assault. Which I probably shouldn’t be going into, but I don’t believe he did anything. I am a huge fan of Roberto Osuna. I’m a little bit biased in terms of how big of a fan. I am but I really love Roberto. He is a great pitcher. In return the Blue Jays got Ken Giles who  was also a head case for his former team. the Astros because he yelled at as manager which is frowned upon in baseball and was recently not pitching for the Astros because of what he did. He has been pretty good, but not as good as Roberto he can’t it go over a hundred miles per hour unfortunately but Roberto could. But he has been at least good serviceable closer above-average. They also got Hector Perez who was recently cut by the Blue Jays. they also got David Paulino who this past spring training got into a fight with Ken Giles and was not really done anything for the blue jays.

the Josh Donaldson trade aka one of the worst trades in Blue Jays history

Image result for jd blue jays
Image result for julian merryweather blue jays

On October 5th 2018 the Blue Jays finished off a trade with the Indians that was originally reported on on August 30th 2018. where the Cleveland got former 2015 Blue Jays MVP Josh Donaldson. who was one of my favourite players during that era. Also I have his jersey that’s how much I loved him. And here’s the funny part. In return the Blue Jays got  a farmhand who I think was in Triple-A with the Indians. Before dare I say, having one of the worst injuries a pitcher could ever have. Tommy John surgery or UCL reconstruction surgery and the person I’m talking about is Julian Merryweather, who to this day this guy has only pitched two games and in total 9 Innings which is an average of 4.5 Innings per appearance. I know he had upside while with the Indians. which as many of you may know Atkins used to be with the Indians. I think that there was definitely tampering involved between Atkins and Shapiro and the the people high up in Cleveland’s Front office.  and also you probably should have traded him the offseason before not on the last day of the waiver trade deadline that’s probably one of the most idiotic moves of his tenure. so nice job messing that up atkins.

Steve Pearce trade

Image result for Steve Pearce blue jays

On June 28th 2018 the Blue Jays trade of the way Steve Pearce who is a an average platoon first baseman and left fielder he had some power not the best Fielder they also gave away a little bit of money I assume to pay off his contract and it is change the Blue Jays got a infielder Santiago Espanol who has not done anything I think is in probably a ball

Sam gaviglio Trade

Image result for Sam gaviglio blue jays

On March 21st 2018 which is during spring training close to the end of it the Blue Jays traded cash considerations for Sam gaviglio who is a field a fairly good either starter or Longman out of bullpen the overall this trade is not that bad I kind of like the Sam gaviglio is currently to the stay still with the blue jays and has always been a good reliable picture he’s not the best picture but he’s at least quality.

2018 offseason

Unneeded veteran outfielder signing AKA Curtis Granderson

Image result for Curtis Granderson blue jays

On January 5th 2018 Curtis Granderson a left fielder was signed to one-year 5 million to the Toronto Blue Jays Curtis Granderson is a veteran outfielder. The Blue Jays did not need him because they had a lot of outfielders in  teoscar Hernandez and Randal grichuk and Kevin pillar so did you not need them. Frankly the Blue Jays did not need an old overpaid outfielder in Curtis Granderson. So this is probably one of the worst signings that Atkins had.

 Dominic Leone trade 2.0

Image result for Dominic Leone blue jays

On January 19th 2018, the Blue Jays traded Dominic Leone who was a pretty good reliever. They also traded Connor Green who is a minor league player. In return they got Randal Grichuk, who is a very good outfielder.  Randal is probably one of the best players on the Blue Jays currently. So this is probably one of the better moves in Ross Atkins tenure with the Blue Jays. so I’m going to say nice job.

Seung-Hwan Oh  signing

Image result for Blue Jays pitcher oh

On February 26th 2018 the Blue Jays sign Seung-Hwan Oh AKA “The Final Boss”  was signed to one-year $2 million dollar contract. He is a veteran setup reliever meaning 7th or 8th inning reliever which the Blue Jays did not need because they are rebuilding and their young team so this is not a very good signing.

Jaime Garcia signing

Image result for Jaime Garcia

On February 15th, 2018 the Blue Jays signed Jaime Garcia a starting pitcher to a one-year deal worth $10 which is definitely way too much for him not being a very good player he is a below-average starting pitcher so I don’t really like the signing one bit.

2017 trades

Aledmys Diaz trade

Image result for aledmys diaz blue jays

On December 1st, 2017 the Toronto Blue Jays Trader JB Woodman who is a largely unknown Prospect Outfield Prospect. In exchange, the Blue Jays got Aledmys Diaz, who is pretty amazing while average starting shortstop for the St Louis Cardinals which is a pretty good trade. This is a fairly average trade not good but also not that bad.

gift ngoepe trade

Image result for gift ngoepe

On November 20th, 2017 the Blue Jays acquired a gift by getting, gift ngoepe from the Pittsburgh Pirates. for future considerations which I assume it would probably be another Prospect gift ngoepe is a is a defensive first player who does not really have a bat I think is currently in double-a or Triple-A for the Blue Jays. so it’s not a very good trade.

Norichika Aoki trade

Image result for norichika Aoki Blue Jays

On July 31st 2017 the Blue Jays made a trade of Norichika Aoki a Japanese Major League player who is Japanese veteran player who’s been around League quite a bit I didn’t mind him the trade but what was the really big part was to Teoscar Hernandez who is an amazing outfielder he was originally just a corner outfielder now he can actually play Center field he has an amazing power and elite Speed and in return the Blue Jays just had to give away Francisco Liriano and his contract.  which is a pretty good trade so I don’t l don’t hate ross Atkins for that.

Joe Smith trade

Image result for Joe Smith Blue Jays

July 31st, 2017 the Blue Jays traded Joe Smith a sidearm right-handed reliever for Thomas Pannone who eventually turned out to be a pretty good left-handed pitcher he probably one of my favourite pitchers with the Blue Jays. This is one of the few trades that I do like.

2017 offseason moves free agents signed

On January 6th 2017 the Blue Jays got Yangervis Solarte for two prospects to the San Diego Padres. in my opinion this trade is not very good because they’re getting an older third baseman which they don’t need because they already have an mvp-caliber third baseman in Josh Donaldson even though he’s injury-prone.

Marco Estrada signing

Image result for Marco Estrada Blue Jays against texas

Marco Estrada was signed September 20th, 2017 to a one-year 13 million-dollar extension going through the 2018 season worth 13 million dollars for that next season, which is a pretty good deal.

Michael Saunders signing

Image result for Michael Saunders tripping on a sprinkler

Michael Saunders was signed by the Toronto Blue Jays June 28th, 2017 he is an injury-prone player who the prior-year had has ankle caught on sprinkler in spring training which made them not be able to play for most of that year so this was a very risky move that Ross Atkins made so we probably shouldn’t have signed Michael.

2016 trades

Drew Hutchinson trade

Image result for Drew Hutchison

On  August 1st 2016 the Blue Jays traded away Drew Hutchinson for Francisco Liriano, Harold Ramirez and Reese McGuire. Here’s the one trade where Mark Shapiro and Ross Atkins actually fleece the team and did the right thing and then go up there now backup catcher Reese McGuire in this trade they got Francisco Liriano Harold Ramirez Reese McGuire for Drew Hutchinson who sucked as a picture for us needed eight runs a run support in every single one of his starts to even get a win it was good to get rid of him but we got a pretty good solid starting pitcher we got a prospect never developed and eventually got picked in the Rule 5 draft by the Marlins and we got our are now back up catcher. I honest to God think this might be the best trade-in Ross Atkins tenure with the Blue Jays

Drew Storen trade

Image result for Drew storen blue jays

On January 8th 2016, the Blue Jays traded Drew Storen for Ben Revere. I don’t have a problem with Ross Atkins and Mark Shapiro getting Drew Storen for Ben Revere except for Ben Revere being great player for us in 2015 during our Championship run and then getting traded not even a month after the run but the problem Then onJuly 26th 2016 the Blue Jays traded Drew Storen who is just traded for7 months ago is now traded for Joaquin Benoit. I have a problem with the Blue Jays trading Drew Storen away a few months into the season for Joaquin Benoit who eventually got injured for us in a playoff game when he was fighting. So basically it was a waste of a trade/assets.

Jason Grilli AKA grilled cheese signing

Image result for Jason Grilli giveaway

On May 31st 2016, the Blue Jays traded for Jason Grilli AKA grilled cheese for some pitcher named Sean Ratliff. I don’t have a problem with getting Jason Grilli he was a great pitcher for us back in 2016-17 is a great setup. So I don’t really have a problem with this.

2015/16 free agents signings

 Kendrys Morales signed

Image result for Kendrys Morales

On November 11th 2015 which is pretty close to start a free agency so it’s a little early to sign a DH at this time so they signed Kendrys Morales to three years 33 million over those three years which is 11 million per year little much for someone who is old obviously going to decline over the next three years and I still remember when the street when the signing happen ice member Ross Atkins and Mark Shapiro said that he was going to play first base a little in the Outfield never played in the Outfield he was supposed to play in the Outfield but he never did

Blue Jays sign Steve Pearce

Image result for Steve Pearce

On December 9th, 2015 the Blue Jays sign Steve Pearce a first baseman and left fielder to a two-year deal worth 12.5 million which just over six million per year.Steve Pearce is a platoon first baseman and left fielder. He is an average player, with a fair amoat of power. He can’t run at all, I think the Blue Jays would have been better off pulling a fan from the stands to run for him. He is not a good fielder. This is not a very good signing to start off Ross Atkins career. Might be one of the worst moves he made.

Gavin Floyd signing

Image result for Gavin Floyd elbow

On February 5th, 2016 the Blue Jays sign Gavin Floyd to 1 year 1 million at first I didn’t mind the steel one but I thought this might be a good deal but then I realize this guy is a sidearm reliever. I think that signing someone that’s had two Tommy John surgeries is a bad idea. This guy was not very good for us

Maicer Izturis signing

Image result for Maicer Izturis fail

February 5th, 2016 The Blue Jays signed Maicer Izturis who I cannot stand one bit. I’ve always hated this guy every single year he’s been with the Blue Jays he sucks, he sucks, he sucks.

My Conclusion

I’m just going to end this blog off by saying, Rogers media please do the right thing and please fire Ross Atkins and Mark Shapiro they are the worst pair of Executives in all of baseball. They are not in it to make the Blue Jays. There in it to secretly rigged it so Cleveland can win a World Series. So please fire Ross Atkins because he does not know how to win and fire Mark Shapiro because he does not know how to pronounce his own last name. the end…

NBA BIGGEST WHAT IF’S

Hello everyone. Today we are going to discuss the biggest what if’s in NBA history!!!!!

1. What if Derrick Rose’s knee never gave out?

Derrick Rose was 22 years old when he had won MVP. There is no telling how amazing of a player he would have been if he would have never gotten hurt. I honestly think that Derrick Rose would have been a top 3 point guard in NBA history. Although he’s still good currently, it took him a while to get back up to the point he’s at right now. It’s unbelievable that he even is as good as he is because a few years ago he was close to retiring from basketball because of all the injuries that he has dealt with.

2. What if Ray Allen didn’t hit the game winning shot in the finals?

If Ray Allen didn’t hit that shot I think the NBA would look a lot different right now. I think that Ray Allen’s shot could have changed the San Antonio Spurs. In that series, If Ray Allen missed the shot, the Spurs would have won, Kawhi Leonard would have been the finals MVP. That could have changed the way that his relationship with the Spurs went. He could have ended up staying on the Spurs and would have never went to Toronto.

3.What if the Hornets never traded Kobe?

If the Hornets never traded Kobe I don’t think Kobe would have been the player that he was. I say that because when Kobe was on the Lakers they had a lot better coaching staff and general lot better players than the Hornets do. Not to mention that when Kobe was becoming a superstar he also had Shaq to carry him for 3 championships in a row. If he never played with Shaq, he wouldn’t have ever grown into the superstar that he was so is really mind-boggling to think about.

4. What if Yao Ming never got hurt?

Yao Ming was so dominant in his NBA career. If he were to never have gotten hurt, it would have changed the NBA a lot. One of the reasons why is because he would have then been able to play with players like James Harden. That could be a very big thing because when James Harden was playing on the Rockets, he was meant to be the number 1 scoring option, but if Yao Ming was playing he would have been the first scoring option. That would mean that James Harden would not have become the person he is today, he would be a role player. That would have changed the way the Houston Rockets are currently in the NBA.

NBA AWARDS

Hello everyone!!! Today I am going to do my very own NBA awards.

Least Improved Player

For the least improved player is Ben Simmons. Although he has good numbers this regular season and with a play style similar to Lebron James he should be a top player. But the problem is the fact that he wasn’t able to develop his shot during the summer, this is a problem as if he isn’t able to get close to the hoop and make a layup his percentages are pretty low. Without a good jump shot it makes it easier for teams to read what he will do knowing he won’t try and go for a shot. Overall he is still an amazing player but he hasn’t improved at all.

Image result for Ben Simmons

Most Overrated Player

Hands down Jimmy butler is the most overrated player in the NBA. Comparisons are People say he a veteran but he plays like a rookie he might score but defensive wise i don’t see it. Yeah, he has his good days but the way people talk about him based on a couple of games is just ridiculous. If they really watch basketball watch him closely some games he will barely come back on defense he will just leak every time depending on his teammates.

Image result for jimmy butler

Most Surprising Rookie

Possibly the most surprising rookie of the season, Kendrick Nunn has often times looked like the second-best player on a solid Miami Heat team. He is an elite-level scorer, a very solid defender, and an underrated playmaker. Nunn has been averaging 17.8 points, three assists, and three rebounds while shooting 51 percent from 2-point range, 39 percent from 3-point range and 84 percent from the free-throw line. These shooting splits are absolutely incredible for any player, let alone an undrafted rookie. The 17.8  is second among rookies, trailing only Ja Morant.

Coach of the year

For the best coach is Mike Budenholzer the Milwaukee Bucks coach. He is a 2-time coach of the year and his most recent award was last year with the 2019 coach of the year award. He is also a potential candidate for this year’s coach of the year if he is able to control the Bucks line up and turn them into a championship team.

Who Is The Best Player Of All Time?

By: Odon Daniel

Welcome back to my blog everyone!!! If you are reading this you are in for a treat because this week’s blog we are going to give a breakdown of the top 5 best players of all time.

In my option, Shaq is the 5 best player in NBA history. He is a 4 time champ, 3 time finals MVP, a one time MVP, rookie of the year, 15 time all star, 8 all NBA first team nominations, and 2 second team nominations. Another thing that makes him a top 5 player of all time is his dominance. He was a 7 foot 1 324 pound Goliath that scored over 28,956 points, 13,099 rebounds and 2 732 blocks. He was just an all around beast.

Image result for why is shaq the greatest players of all time

Kareem Abdul Jabbar in my opinion, is the 4th best player of all time. He has the most points of all time, he is an 8 time NBA champion, 6 time MVP, a 2 time finals MVP, 19 time all star, 10 time All-NBA First Team, 5 time All-NBA Second Team, 5 time NBA All-Defensive First Team, 6 time NBA All-Defensive Second Team, NBA Rookie of the Year, NBA All-Rookie First Team, 2 time NBA scoring champion, NBA rebounding champion and a 4 time NBA blocks leader. Do I need to say anything else?

Michael Jordan hands down is the 3 greatest player of all time. He could score whenever he wanted and however he would want. He was unguardable. Another thing that also makes him one of the best players of all time is his defense. Along with scoring 32,292 points, he also averaged 2.3 steals throughout his whole career. He was a 9 time all Nba defensive time. He even won a defensive player of the year in 1987-1988. He was a one of a kind player who was dominant on both sides of the court. That’s what made him so legendary. Along with also being the best 2 way player in Nba history, he is arguably the clutchest player in Nba history. He has hit so many game winners in his career, including the game winning mid range jumper that secured his 6th championship. There will never be a player like Michael Jordan ever again.

A lot of people think that LeBron James is the best player of all time, but I don’t agree with them. LeBron James is the second best player in Nba history. LeBron James is one of the most consistent scorers in Nba history. He currently has 33,269 points at the age of 34. That’s very impressive. LeBron James is also an elite defender. He is 15 on the all time steals list with 1,945. He is also has 964 career blocks. Along with being an amazing offensive threat, LeBron James is a talented playmaker. He is 10th on the all time assists list with 8,959. LeBron James has no flaw in his game and he is an all around beast.

When it comes to Wilt Chamberlain, nobody puts him into the decision for the best player of all time, but in reality, he really should. The man has the record for the most points in a game which by the way is 100 POINTS. He was over 7 feet and has a 49 inch vert. He was faster than most point guards. He averaged 30 points, 22 rebounds and 9 blocks. This guy was a human stat machine. He is also a 2 time NBA champion, 4 time MVP, a finals MVP, rookie of the year, 10 time all NBA 1st and 2nd team, and he is a 13 time all star. There will never be a player like him again.

NBA UPDATE

Hello everyone!!! Oh are you guys in for a treat today because we are going to do a early season update.

Boston Is On A Roll

I think that the Boston Celtics have been shocking a lot of people. In the league full or super teams, The Boston Celtics are number 1 seed in the eastern conference. People thought that the Celtics would struggle because they lost so much talent and key players in the off season, but the Celtics don’t seem to be playing different. The Celtics have had a better start this season than they did last season. Last season, The Celtics started 6-4, this year the Celtics are 10-2. There team is reminding me of the way they were playing in the 2016-2017 playoffs. I think that because in the 2016-2017 season, the Celtics didn’t have that one star player to carry the team, they had a bunch of players who would put up numbers.

Image result for boston celtics 2019-2020

Andrew Wiggins Is A Beast

Andrew Wiggins have been having an amazing season. This season, he has been silencing all of his critics and is averaging 25 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. I think that Wiggins is going to have a comeback season because he is looking way more confident on the court, and he is playing like he has something to prove.

Image result for andrew wiggins

Luca Magic

One of the bigger stories that has been talked about, is Luca Dončić has been playing better than anyone thought he would play. He is averaging 28 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. These are MVP numbers. The way he is controlling the game, the NBA has not seen in a while, AND HE IS ONLY 20 YEARS OLD. this guy is not even in his prime yet and he is putting up numbers like this. I have no words.

James Harden Isn’t Human

James Harden right now is unguardable. He is averaging 39 points 5 rebounds and 8 assists while shooting over 40 percent from the field. His ball control is out of this world, he can score wherever he wants and how ever he wants to do it. He has had over 30 points in 7 straight games. He has had six 40 points plus games. Also, with the help of Russell Westbrook, the team right now is 10-3. Watch out for the rockets.

So to sum up my NBA update, James Harden and the Rockets are on a roll, Luca Dončić is a MVP candidate right now, the Celtics are amazing and lastly, Andrew Wiggins is stepping up.

CBC,2019

Don Cherry a hockey veteran who’s been reviewing and commentating on Hockey Night in Canada for almost 35 years on Sportsnet was fired for making an offensive remark toward immigrants and them not buying poppies he stated “You people … that come here, whatever it is, you love our way of life, you love our milk and honey, at least you can pay a couple of bucks for a poppy or something like that,” he said. “These guys paid for your way of life that you enjoy in Canada, these guys paid the biggest price.”. After Don Cherry’s statement Canadians lashed out at Don Cherry and Sportsnet causing them to make an obvious decision for their reputation to fire the old-timer. Now that he is gone Hockey Night in Canada won’t be the same as Don Cherry was the star of the show alongside Ron Maclean and was a great personality all around from his wacky suits and his rants he made Hockey great and it’s sad to see him go.

Here’s a video of Cherry’s controversial statement

Top 5 Toronto Raptors of all time

By Odon and Sergei and Cooper

7.Serge Ibaka

In 7th place, we have Serge Ibaka. Serge made our list because of his tenacious defence at the rim. Also for helping the Raptors win a championship in 2019.

6. Tracy McGrady

Our other sleeper pick in 6th place we have Tracy McGrady AKA T-MAC. Tracy McGrady was drafted by the Raptors in the 1997 NBA draft ninth overall. In his time with the Raptors. He had 11 points, three rebounds, five assists,  one block and one steal through 3 seasons. Where he had good stats but they definitely aren’t superstar stats. This is because he play with the Raptors when he was very young and still developing as a player

5. Chris bosh

Now to start a top five in fifth place, we have Chris bosh. In what is widely regarded as one of the strongest draft classes in NBA history, which included future All-Stars LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, and Dwyane Wade, Bosh was selected fourth overall by the Toronto Raptors in the 2003 NBA draft and was signed on July 8, 2003. In his career with the Raptors he had 20 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.2 steals and 1.2 blocks over seven seasons of the Raptors. I think that Chris bosh is probably the best big man in raptors history.

4. Kyle Lowry

In fourth place we have Kyle Lowry.

3.DeMar DeRozan

In third place we have DeMar DeRozan.

2. Kawhi Leonard

In second place we have Kawhi Leonard.

1.Vince Carter

Surprisingly, Vinsanity AKA Vince Carter is first place because of his effect on the Raptors. He put the raptors on the map. Carter emerged as a star in Toronto. He won the 1999 NBA Rookie of the Year Award and won the Slam Dunk Contest at the 2000 NBA All-Star Weekend. That summer, he represented the United States in the Summer Olympics, winning a gold medal. He entertained crowds with his leaping ability and slam dunks, earning nicknames such as “Vinsanity”, “Air Canada”, and “Half-Man, Half-Amazing”.

Written By: Cooper H , Odon D and Sergei L

Michael Jordan

Alright, starting of with who else with MJ. Michael Jordan is the greatest player of all time in the NBA hands down. He is legendary known by all even outside the basketball industry. He is a 6 time NBA champion, a 5 time most valuable player, Rookie of the Year, and many more awards. He’s averaged the most points in NBA history and has literally hundreds of other NBA records to his name. Throughout his career, Jordan put up a whopping 32,292 points and was the best player in the NBA during his career. To this day everyone still talks about Jordan and know him as the greatest to play the game kind of like the “Wayne Gretzky” of basketball. And remember, 6 for 6 in the NBA finals.

Rebuttal from other group members

Wilt Chamberlain

When its comes to Wilt Chamberlain, nobody puts him into the decision for the best player of all time, but in reality, he really should.

Shaquille O’Neal

Shaq was good at everything like making movies TV shows but what he did on the court for the orlando magic, los angeles lakers, the Cleveland cavs, Boston Celtics, the Phoenix suns and the miami heat was incredible. He’s a 4 time champ, 3x finals mvp, a one time mvp, rookie of the year, 15x all star, 8 all nba first team nominations, and 2 second team nominations. He was just an all around beast.
Rebuttal from other group members

Larry Bird

Larry Bird is considered one of the greatest players of all time. After joining the Celtics you could see the improvements that bird was making, the Celtics had improved by winning 32 more games since the previous season before he was drafted. Bird is one of the greatest scorers and playmakers in NBA history. Bird also has 3 NBA Championships, 3 MVP’s, two finals MVPs, a rookie of the year and even a coach of the year award to his name.

Kawhi Leonard

Kawhi Leonard is one of the greatest players of all time for us amazing defence on any player kawhi Leonard won finals MVP in San Antonio specifically for his defence on LeBron James Kawhi Leonard also led Toronto to their first NBA finals championship trophy. in his career he has averaged an underwhelming 18 6 and 3. He also is a 2× NBA champion 2× NBA Finals MVP, 3× NBA All-Star 2× All-NBA First Team, 2× NBA Defensive Player of the Year, 5× NBA All-Defensive First Team. for these reasons kawhi leonard IS one the greatest

Stephen Curry

Steph Curry is definitely hands down one of the top 10 NBA players of all time. Curry is by far the best 3-point shooter in NBA history. He was part of the greatest NBA team of all time with the 73-9 Warriors and then later went on to add KD and won 2 more chips. Curry has the only unanimous MVP in history, which he won in the 2016 season. In total, Curry has 3 rings, and two back to back mvps .

Raptors Season Preview/Ring Review

BY: EMAD POPAL

Season preview

I really think Toronto Raptors had a great season last year with Kawhi Leonard. I really think they took a major loss by losing Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green.  For their first home game this season I wasn’t really impressed with how they played on the defensive end although their offencive game was on point. Within their shot selection I thought they took really poor shot selections they could’ve had greater ball movement but knowing that it’s their first game they have a lot of improvements as they have a lot of switches within the roster. The team chemistry is not there yet as I watched last night but as they start playing together more often they will get that chemistry going and I believe that they can hold another ring.
